Privacy Policy for Gridune: Block Puzzle
Effective Date: October 24, 2026
Last Updated: October 29, 2026
Wolftrail Studio (“Wolftrail Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Gridune: Block Puzzle (“Gridune,” the “Game,” or the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use Gridune on Android or iOS, including information stored locally on your device, information processed by advertising and consent services, information associated with optional in-app purchases, and information you voluntarily provide when contacting us.
Gridune does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email address, password, or other profile information to play the Game.
1. No Account or Login Required
Gridune does not currently provide or require:
- user accounts;
- registration or login;
- authentication with Wolftrail Studio;
- cloud profiles;
- Wolftrail Studio cloud saves;
- multiplayer accounts; or
- a Wolftrail Studio backend for uploading saved-game progress.
Your gameplay is not associated with a Wolftrail Studio user account because Gridune does not operate such an account system.
Third-party platform and advertising services may nevertheless process technical information as described below.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Gridune stores certain information locally so that the Game can function and remember your progress and preferences.
This may include:
- best scores;
- Journey progress;
- Daily Challenge records and streaks;
- completion dates and gameplay timestamps;
- sound and haptic preferences;
- language preferences;
- advertising frequency and cooldown information;
- information used to determine whether an interstitial or rewarded advertisement may be shown;
- local Remove Ads entitlement status on iOS;
- active game state held temporarily in memory; and
- other technical settings required for normal gameplay.
Wolftrail Studio does not currently operate a server that receives your complete saved-game state, board state, Journey progress, Daily Challenge history, or scores.
Some locally stored information may be included in device backups depending on your operating system, device configuration, and backup settings.
3. Advertising
Gridune uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK. Android version 1.0.3 and later request non-personalized advertising for every user, apply maximum ad content rating G, and use unspecified age treatment rather than universally classifying users as children. No age or date of birth is requested, inferred from personal information, or stored for advertising. Version 1.0.2 applies child treatment and G filtering; versions before 1.0.2 use the earlier regional consent-based advertising flow and may allow personalization where permitted. Existing installations retain their version's behavior until updated.
The Game currently uses:
- interstitial advertisements; and
- optional rewarded advertisements.
Gridune does not currently use banner advertisements.
Rewarded advertisements are voluntary and may be offered in exchange for an optional gameplay benefit, such as continuing an eligible game session.
Interstitial advertisements may be displayed automatically at eligible points in the Game, subject to Gridune's advertising-frequency rules.
Advertising availability and behavior may vary depending on platform, region, consent choices, device settings, advertising availability, and other technical factors.
4. Information Processed by Google Advertising Services
Google Mobile Ads and related Google services may automatically process certain technical and usage information.
Depending on your platform, device settings, consent choices, region, and Google configuration, this may include information such as:
- IP address;
- general or approximate location derived from an IP address;
- advertising identifiers;
- App Set ID or other device/app identifiers;
- app and advertising interactions;
- app launches, taps, and video views;
- advertising-related information;
- performance information;
- crash or diagnostic information;
- information used to detect fraud, abuse, or invalid advertising activity; and
- privacy and consent signals.
Gridune does not add your name, email address, saved-game state, score, board state, or a Wolftrail Studio account identifier to its Google Mobile Ads ad requests.
Google acts as a third-party service provider with its own data-processing practices and privacy obligations.
5. Consent and Privacy Choices
Gridune uses Google's User Messaging Platform (“UMP”) to manage privacy and advertising choices where applicable.
When Gridune starts, the App may contact UMP to determine whether a privacy or consent message is required.
Android version 1.0.3 and later use Google's regional UMP flow without marking every user as under the age of consent. UMP may present applicable consent or privacy messages. The app independently requests non-personalized ads even if personalization consent is granted; limited ads may be available where Google and the applicable privacy state permit. Version 1.0.2 marks all UMP requests under age and may suppress consent solicitation.
Ads are loaded only when the SDK reports that ad requests are permitted. Gameplay remains available when privacy services or advertisements fail or are unavailable.
Settings retains a Privacy Policy entry. A Privacy choices entry is shown only when Google's UMP reports that a privacy-options entry point is required. Availability depends on Google's applicable requirements. Available choices do not cause version 1.0.3 and later to intentionally request personalized advertising.
Changing privacy choices does not necessarily delete information previously processed by Google.
6. Advertising Identifiers and Tracking
Android
Earlier Android versions may access the Android Advertising ID. Version 1.0.2 and later remove the Android Advertising ID permission. App Set ID or other SDK-supported identifiers may still be processed as described above.
You can manage or reset certain advertising settings through your Android device settings where supported.
iOS
Google Mobile Ads may use the advertising identifier or other app- or developer-scoped identifiers where permitted.
iOS provides App Tracking Transparency (“ATT”) controls for activities that constitute tracking under Apple's rules.
Whether an ATT request is presented may depend on the privacy-message configuration, operating-system requirements, region, consent status, and advertising configuration.
If tracking permission is denied, certain identifiers such as IDFA may not be available for advertising requests. This does not necessarily prevent all advertisements or all technical information processing.
7. Advertising Protections for Everyone
Android version 1.0.3 and later use G-rated content filtering and non-personalized/contextual ad requests. AdMob controls restrict sensitive or adult-oriented categories where available. These controls are best-effort: they do not guarantee that every creative is correctly classified or suitable for every circumstance. G-rated ads do not make the app child-directed or change its intended Play target audience.
Contextual advertising, delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, fraud prevention, security, compliance and diagnostics may still involve IP-derived approximate location, device/app identifiers and app/ad interactions. Android version 1.0.2 and later remove the Android Advertising ID permission. Non-personalized advertising does not mean that no identifiers or other data are processed.
8. iOS In-App Purchases
On iOS, Gridune may offer a non-consumable Remove Ads purchase where available.
Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit infrastructure.
Wolftrail Studio does not receive or process through Gridune:
- your full payment card number;
- your Apple Account password;
- your complete Apple payment credentials; or
- your billing-address information entered into Apple's payment interface.
Apple processes the payment.
Gridune may receive or access information necessary to provide and restore the purchase, such as:
- product identifier;
- purchase status;
- transaction identifier;
- transaction date;
- product price and currency information; and
- entitlement information provided through StoreKit.
Gridune currently stores a local indication that Remove Ads has been purchased.
The Game does not currently upload a separate purchase-history database to a Wolftrail Studio server.
Apple may retain transaction and purchase information independently according to its own policies.
What Remove Ads does
The Remove Ads purchase currently prevents eligible interstitial advertisements from being displayed.
It does not necessarily:
- disable optional rewarded advertisements;
- prevent Google advertising SDK initialization;
- prevent required consent processing;
- delete information previously processed by an advertising provider; or
- operate as a general privacy opt-out.
Optional rewarded advertisements may remain available after Remove Ads is purchased.
9. Android Purchases
The current Android version of Gridune does not provide:
- Google Play Billing purchases;
- subscriptions; or
- a Remove Ads purchase.
Android currently uses the advertising model described in this Privacy Policy.
This may change in a future version. If it does, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
10. App Store and Google Play Update Checks
Gridune may contact the relevant platform store to determine whether a newer version of the App is available.
Depending on your platform, this may involve communication with Google Play or Apple's App Store services.
Requests may include technical information such as:
- the Gridune application or bundle identifier;
- device language or locale-related information;
- country information derived from device locale settings; and
- request timing information.
Your IP address and ordinary network metadata may also be visible to the store provider as part of the network request.
Gridune does not send your saved-game progress, scores, board state, or Journey/Daily Challenge history as part of these update checks.
11. Third-Party Services
Gridune relies on third-party platform services for certain functions.
These currently include services such as:
Google Mobile Ads is used for advertising.
Google User Messaging Platform is used for privacy and consent messaging.
Google Play services may also be contacted for Android store-version information.
Google may process information according to Google's own privacy policies and service terms.
Apple
Apple's App Store and StoreKit are used for iOS product information, purchase processing, entitlement restoration, and App Store functionality.
Apple may process transaction, account, device, payment, and technical information according to Apple's own privacy policies and service terms.
Wolftrail Studio does not control the independent data-retention practices of Google or Apple.
12. Contacting Support or Privacy
Gridune does not automatically collect your email address.
If you voluntarily contact Wolftrail Studio, however, we may receive information you choose to provide, including:
- your email address;
- your message;
- screenshots or attachments;
- your device model or operating-system information if you provide it;
- information about a problem you are experiencing; and
- any other information you choose to include.
Please do not send passwords, complete payment-card information, Apple Account passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information when contacting us.
For product support:
For privacy-related questions or requests:
We use information received through these communications to respond to your request, troubleshoot problems, maintain appropriate records of the communication, protect the security and integrity of our services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes where necessary.
We retain support and privacy communications only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, subject to applicable legal obligations.
13. Children and Younger Users
Gridune does not require users to create an account and does not ask users within the Game to provide a name, email address, date of birth, or account profile.
Gridune does not ask for age or date of birth, infer age from user-entered personal information, or store age profiles. Advertising protections differ by version as described above; G filtering alone is not a declaration that Gridune is child-directed.
Parents and users may contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights or raise concerns about advertising or third-party processing. We do not claim that child treatment removes all SDK data processing or independently establishes compliance with every privacy law. Store availability and privacy obligations may vary by jurisdiction.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has voluntarily provided personal information to Wolftrail Studio through a support or privacy communication, they may contact:
We will review the request and take appropriate action as required by applicable law.
14. Data Retention
Different categories of information have different retention behavior.
Local game information
Game progress, preferences, advertising-frequency information, and related local information may remain on your device until:
- it is replaced by newer information;
- you clear the App's data;
- the App removes it as part of normal operation;
- you uninstall or delete the App; or
- the operating system otherwise removes the information.
Device backup and restore features may cause some local preferences or progress to be restored after reinstallation.
Apple purchase information
Apple maintains purchase and transaction records independently.
A non-consumable purchase may therefore be restorable after local Gridune data has been deleted.
Advertising and consent information
Information processed by Google is subject to Google's retention practices and applicable privacy controls.
Changing consent choices inside Gridune does not guarantee deletion of information previously retained by Google.
Support communications
Information you voluntarily send to Wolftrail Studio may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request, maintain necessary records, prevent abuse, protect legal rights, or comply with applicable law.
15. Deleting or Resetting Information
Gridune does not currently provide a single production button that deletes every category of information associated with the App.
For information stored locally by Gridune, you can generally remove local app data using operating-system controls or by deleting the App, subject to operating-system backup and restore behavior.
This does not automatically delete:
- Google advertising or consent information already processed by Google;
- Apple purchase or transaction records;
- information retained by your platform provider;
- previously sent support emails; or
- information another third-party provider is legally required to retain.
For privacy questions or requests concerning information held directly by Wolftrail Studio, contact:
16. Sharing of Information
Wolftrail Studio does not currently operate a first-party backend that receives Gridune's complete saved-game progress.
However, information may be processed by third-party services necessary for the functions described in this Policy, including:
- Google for advertising, consent, analytics associated with advertising services, fraud prevention, and related technical functions;
- Apple for App Store and StoreKit functionality; and
- Google Play or Apple's App Store for version checks and store functionality.
Information voluntarily submitted through email is also processed by the email and infrastructure providers required to deliver and store that communication.
17. International Processing
Google, Apple, email-service providers, and other technology providers may process information on servers located in countries other than the country where you live.
Applicable privacy protections, contractual safeguards, and legal requirements may therefore vary depending on the service provider, your location, and applicable law.
You should also review the privacy information provided by the relevant platform and service provider.
18. Security
We take reasonable measures appropriate to Gridune's architecture to reduce unnecessary collection and exposure of information.
Gridune intentionally does not require a Wolftrail Studio account or maintain a first-party cloud database containing your gameplay history.
Third-party network communications are handled through the relevant platform or SDK infrastructure. Google states that user data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
No method of electronic transmission, device storage, or online processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
19. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide rights concerning personal information, which may include rights to:
- request access to information;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or
- raise a complaint with an appropriate privacy authority.
These rights are subject to applicable law and may differ by jurisdiction.
For information controlled directly by Wolftrail Studio, you may submit a privacy request to:
For information controlled independently by Google, Apple, or another provider, you may also need to use that provider's privacy controls or request process.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Gridune's features, advertising configuration, purchase functionality, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change.
When we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required.
You should review this Privacy Policy periodically.
